About Whitehay
A private holding company, building for the world that's arriving.
Our Vision
Some shifts are already certain.
The only open question is who builds them first.
Whitehay builds and backs those businesses now, while they're still foundations and not yet the norm. We look for the points where a permanent human need meets a shift that's already underway, and we get there early. Then we stay, because foundations aren't laid in a hurry.
How we work
Three habits, held for the long term
01
Time is the lever. We're unhurried about the things that compound, and impatient about the things that don't.
02
We don't run an exit clock. The businesses we build aren't for sale at the first sign of margin.
03
We keep the list short, and we go deep.
Team
The people laying the foundations
Founded Whitehay Capital with Kormakur Arthursson. Leads the group's Nordic data centre work and capital relationships. Background in private capital and infrastructure development.
Kormakur is an Icelandic entrepreneur and co-founder of Whitehay Capital. He has spent more than a decade in international real estate, hospitality and finance, working across a range of asset classes and on both sides of the deal. He has raised and structured capital, and led the redevelopment and operation of the assets themselves. He co-founded Whitehay to build companies around the shifts he believes are already certain, and to stay with them long enough to make them matter. He is drawn to problems that only grow more important with time.
Judy is a growth strategist and entrepreneur who has built and sold businesses at the meeting point of technology, wellness and hospitality. She began in brand and marketing at Procter & Gamble, then led commercialisation in digital health and scaled platforms in high-touch industries where service and innovation have to coexist. At Whitehay she leads innovation and growth across the portfolio, with a particular focus on where emerging technology can change the customer experience.
Aron is an AI-first builder who turns emerging models into working products. He builds the systems behind Whitehay AI, pairing engineering with a marketer's instinct for what actually lands, so the technology is genuinely useful and not just impressive. If something can be built with AI, he's usually already building it.
Trained as an architect in Buenos Aires and Barcelona, Macarena has structured international real estate acquisitions, led cross-border negotiations, and run construction teams across three countries. She has built the operational backbone for businesses from property development to London wealth management. At Whitehay she runs operations and project delivery across the portfolio, bringing structure and full ownership to whatever the businesses need.
Who we are
A small group of people who find the future genuinely exciting.
Energy, intelligence, health, the planet: the fundamentals are changing faster than ever, and that's exactly when the best things get built.
What connects us is a temperament more than a track record.
A pull toward hard problems, and an impatience to solve them. We're less interested in talking about where the world is heading than in building the things that get it there. We take on challenges worth the effort, and we see them through.
Building, investing, or partnering in any of these worlds? Let's talk.
